Sol is an extraordinarily out-of-the-way residence that is to be found on
the top of its own small hill with eye-catching views overlooking the pleasant
Ibicenco countryside and the crystal clear Mediterranean on the western-side of
the island near to Cala Bassa.
There is a vibrant blend of
eastern hemisphere characteristics displayed throughout the property in the decor,
furnishings, paintings, statues and several out of the ordinary sculpted artefact
pieces, bringing together a combination of an 'Arabian-cum-Indonesian' environment,
making this a serene place for those to stay who are looking for a breed apart.
The
estate covers 'six-thousand-two-hundred-square-meters' of prime land which includes
a well-maintained horticultural landscape display of trees, plants, flowers, three
fish ponds, waterfall and tucked away at the rear of the multi-coloured gardens
is an authentic Bedouin tent.
At the main entrance there
is an intercom system and access is gained through the electric controlled security
gates leading on to the driveway and up to the front door of the main part of
the house with car parking space both inside and outside the private grounds.
The interior of the house is classily decorated and furnished
throughout with eight double-bedrooms and five bathrooms. The ground floor consists
of a large lounge with air-conditioning, under floor central heating, multilingual
satellite television and CD stereo music system, dining room, big kitchen with
gas hob/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave-oven and a separate pantry,
the first double-bedroom, a bar leading to the outside swimming-pool with split-level
terraces and purpose built barbecue area, a community toilet with a wash basin,
the second double-bedroom with en-suite shower room, large bathroom with two separate
shower cubicles, the third double-bedroom with ceiling fan, the fourth double-bedroom
with air-conditioning, the fifth double-bedroom with air-conditioning, the sixth
double-bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi. There is a laundry room with washing machine
and ironing facilities, a games room with a full-scale snooker table, an indoor
'six-by-three-metres' swimming-pool, a state of the art recording studio and also
if required the services of a professional sound engineer.
Up
on the first floor there is a self-contained apartment consisting of the seventh
double-bedroom with bathroom en-suite, the eighth double-bedroom with a shower
room en-suite, lounge/dining room and a small kitchen.
It's
a fifteen minutes walk to the nearest natural sandy beach at Cala Bassa and you
can have use the four mountain-bikes provided to explore the woodland trails and
the surrounding countryside.
Casa Sol is a special
retreat where a group of up to sixteen people should become more conscious and
get in tune together amongst fine surroundings and a wonderful environment.
