Naďf
A
Brief History: In1998 Gregorio Cañellas acquired an abandoned Ibicencan
country house by the side of the road. Since that time, the house which was from
the beginning of the century a meeting place for farmers who laboured the neighbouring
fields has been restored and enriched with an exuberant Mediterranean garden.
This is where nights at Naïf take place.
What is Naïf:
Naïf was a lounge, the natural extension of a living room that welcomes a
large group of friends. The aesthetics of Naïf are palm trees, bougainvilleas,
sofas and candles under the starry night. An international audience meets and
laughs surrounded by a soft yet energetic music heard around the garden.
The
lounge and the word Naïf describe an attitude that springs from its creator
and runs through the team that is simple, natural, innocent and away from the
impersonal and massive aspects that sometimes characterize nightlife.
Who
is Naïf: Naïf is a native of Ibiza who is proud to showcase its
past through its most basic elements (an ancient house and a garden full of Mediterranean
plants) for outsiders to admire.
Naïf is the tourist that flees to
Ibiza searching for a dream - for a few days or weeks - of liberty, desire and
nature.
Naïf is he or she who looks for romance - lasting or brief
- under the romantic heaven of Ibiza.
It is the person who gets ready in
a friendly atmosphere for a long night that begins in Naïf, continues onto
a disco and ends in an unsuspected way and time.
