What do we do?
We are privately
owned property agents covering the island of Ibiza. Our services include all aspects
of residential property sales, lettings and management, as well as commercial
management and acquisitions and investments. How
do we do it? As a group of individuals with experience
of both large and small estate agencies our view is that clients appreciate a
combination of the benefits of both: the marketing muscle, collective experience
and international outlook of a large company combined with the personal service,
local knowledge and flexibility of a small estate agent firm. We
strive to achieve that balance and keep our emphasis firmly on knowledge. We do
what we know how to do and take pride in doing it. Who
does it?The members of staff at LiveIbiza come from a
variety of backgrounds: legal, financial, property management, residential and
commercial agency and marketing. We look at ourselves as a whole and do not rely
on the individual parts of our estate agent service to satisfy our customers.
This approach is not restricted to the level of service
achieved but also to the variety of property services we provide with taxation,
legal, acquisition and investment advice being provided in addition to the more
traditional estate agents services. Most Estate Agencies
are like a shop, and will try to persuade the client to buy a property from their
books only. (in order to get the most commission). Although they say the opposite,
they are thinking of their interests, not the clients. In my experience of working
in estate agencies here, I have seen this happens often.
An Estate Agency
will look after its interest before yours Another reason
is that, even if you do work with a reputable Estate Agency, not all of them are
strong in the same area of Ibiza. It happens all the time to my clients: they
think they want to be in one particular area -sometimes they stayed there before
and it is the only place they know. However, once they know Ibiza better, it is
not unusual that they change their mind. In this case they have to find another
estate agency in their newly chosen area. This takes precious time and is a hassle. Also,
sometimes estate agencies are linked to the owners of a particular property, have
special terms agreed on certain deals with builders... or want to sell properties
that they own themselves! Thus, the agency may try to
push you in a direction you would rather not take otherwise. Since
I am not committed to any estate agency, and not having other interests related
to your buy, I can provide you with really independent advice and information,
so you have a really good snapshot of the market at any given moment. After I
have shown you the best properties in your chosen area, it is completely up to
you to decide. What can you expect from LiveIbiza?
You can expect plain talk, honest, knowledgeable and, above all, impartial
advice on which property to buy in Ibiza. You can expect me to provide you with
the best of both worlds: all what estate agencies have to offer, but none of the
pressures to buy one particular property, or properties in any given area. If
